Hello, DIY enthusiasts! Welcome back to Allprives DIY blogs.
To be honest, I'm not someone who loves reading. But I do enjoy buying books, paper books give me the feeling of having read them even if you put them at home. At the same time, books are also a good decoration, which will not make the space look too empty.
In today's blog, we're going to make a fancy bookshelf. With the least materials, only 2. Let's get started!
List of materials & tools
Materials:
- Wood boards: L1200mm * W150mm x1
- Angle brackets: L125mm * 125mm x4
- Screws: M4 x4
Tools:
Drill
Now that we have all the materials ready, let's move on to the fancy bookshelf process!!!
Fancy bookshelf DIY instructions
Step 1: Measurement
Measure the distance between the angle brackets and the distance between each layer. The most important thing to keep the board looking nice is to ensure all the measurements are correct.
Step 2: Angle bracket installation
Following the marks you did in step 1, use an electric drill to assist in installing the angle bracket. I will recommend fastening the bottom hole, then you still have space to adjust the horizon.
Step 3: Adjust the horizontal position
Pick up a random book to test the horizontal position. If it is not level, we can still adjust it. If it is level, we can fix all the remaining holes. And add a second layer to it.

Conclusion
I didn't add anything to help the bookshelf stand, just leaning against the wall can achieve a certain balance. If you have children or pets at home, remember to consider adding legs or sticking non-slip pads to make it more stable. That's all for today's DIY, will you make one?
