Pegboard storage wall DIY instructions
Step 1: Splice the foot parts
Install the foot-end connector on the foot block and screw it 1cm into the foot block. (For better height adjustment later) Then splice it to the aluminum profile and tighten the screws.
Step 2: Connect aluminum profiles
Before connecting the two aluminum profiles, we need to put the built-in connectors into the inner track, then use a straight connector to connect the two sections of aluminum and tighten the screws to secure them.
Step 3: Install the extension holder
Install the extension holder part. As shown in the picture from left to right, they are gasket, nut, fixing clip, plug screw, iron rod. Install them one by one in the order of the picture.
Step 4: Install on the wall
To install on the wall, we only need to tighten the screws at the ground end, and the top only needs to be tightened against the ceiling. First, tighten the nuts of the foot block, and then tighten the nuts below the foot end. Just secure it so it won't loosen.
Step 5: Install the crossbar
Install the crossbar into the inner track, fixing it to the height you need.
Install the other side on the wall as in step 4, and secure each part.
Step 6: Pegboard install
Before installing the pegboard, we need to install the extension holder that we made in Step 3 to the crossbar, and then thread the small iron rod left in Step 3 into the fixing clips. This iron rod can make the pegboard more stable. After the top and bottom are installed, you can put the pegboard up and fix it.
The tutorial is completed. Now let's take a quick preview of the end result of the pegboard storage wall.

Conclusion
This is by far the most satisfying DIY project I have done. After installing the storage wall, my desktop is now much tidier. You might have also noticed that I added a purple LED light strip behind the wall, which enhances the look. It's a great idea to hang up city maps or paintings on the wall as well. This storage wall is very sturdy and won't sway even when loaded with items.Share your craft creation with the group.
