Welcome to the AllPrives DIY tutorial blog.
Are you having trouble finding a place to store your magazines? Tired of having them stack up in the corner of the room and looking messy?
In today's blog, we will make an easy magazine rack together, instead of a wooden rack but a metal rack—a modern type to match your home atmosphere and durable over time.
Let's get started!

- 39in/ 1m canvas strips x1 (2in/ 5cm width)

Why are there two different types of units?
To provide a clearer tutorial for customers who use different length units, we have divided the material list into imperial units and metric units. You only need to choose one of the units to prepare materials.
Magazine rack DIY instructions
Step 1: Install horizontal rods
Take out the longest rods and 4 clips. Use 2 clips to adjust the right angle, and fasten it with the hex key.
Step 2: Splice legs
Splice the rack legs according to the angle and secure them in the middle position. Repeat the process for the other side.
Step 3: Install the top horizontal rods
Attach the top rods to the frame by using the clips.
Step 4: Install the bottom horizontal rods
Install and secure bottom rods using the same method as step three.
Step 5: Install the bottom layer
To complete the main frame, start by installing the shortest rods to the bottom layer. Use clips to connect them to the bottom horizontal rods, and then connect the last 2 rods on it.
Step 6: Install canvas strips
After splicing the frame, then move on to sewing. Before sewing, we need to cut the canvas strap to a fixed length.
We start with the middle section. Tighten the strip from the top and secure it with stitches.
*Note: Every step requires tightening the strip before sewing.
Then go around and wrap the middle rod, tighten and sew. Same step with the last parallel rod.
Arrange the eight paragraphs in a staggered manner as shown in the picture.
If you're having trouble understanding how the strips connect to the frame, refer to this diagram: a-c-g connection, b-c-e connection, d-e connection, f-g connection.
The final step, stitch the small canvas strips and your task will be finished.
The following figures can be used as installation references.
The tutorial is completed. Now let's take a quick preview of the end result.
